Nikon Announces NIKKOR 35mm f/1.2 S

Nikon has announced an ultra-fast NIKKOR 35m f/1.2 S full-frame prime lens ideal for environmental portraits, events, and photojournalism.

The Nikon NIKKOR 35mm f/1.2 S is the latest entry in Nikon’s optically refined S-Line of Z-mount lenses. It demonstrates Nikon’s commitment to enthusiasts, professional photographers, and videographers.

Nikon’s newly announced 35mm f/1.2 S lens boasts premium build qualities, sublime handling, and unparalleled image clarity and sharpness.

The new Nikon NIKKOR 35mm f/1.2 S is a standard prime lens delivering a 63° field of view and a fast f/1.2 maximum aperture.

Combined with the 11.8″ (30cm) minimal focus distance and rounded 11-blade diaphragm, the new NIKKOR produces exceptional subject sharpness while disintegrating the background with creamy blur and bokeh.

The NIKKOR 35mm f/1.2 S boasts an internal lens assembly of 17 elements in 15 groups, including one aspherical ED and 3 ED elements.

It’s also worth pointing out that the lens elements have been treated with Meso Amorphous and ARNEO coatings for optimal clarity, light management, and color control.
